We are proud to present Civil War 2008 at Gibson Ranch May 17th & 18th.
Living History Camps - Walk through Union and Confederate camps and see what day to day life was like for a soldier.
Saturday 11:00 am - 600 pm (updated time)
Sunday 9:00 am - 3:00 pm
Battle Re-Enactments - Infantry, cavalry, and artillery turn the rolling hills of Gibson Ranch into a Civil War battlefield.
Saturday 12:00 noon and 5:00 pm. (gates open at 11:00 am)
Sunday 11:00 am and 2:00 pm (gates open at 9:00)
Great Food Concessions available - Civil War Music and Dancing, Crafts, Fashion Shows, Speeches by Historical Characters, Horse Drawn Wagon Rides and a great time for the entire family!
General Admission - $10 each
Seniors (55 and older) - $8 each
Children ages 6 to 14 - $8 each
Family Pack - 2 adults & 2 children - $30
Coming both Days? Buy a return ticket! When you purchase your ticket Saturday, buy your Sunday ticket for $5 each.
Children 5 and under are free and Parking is included!

Friday May, 16th is our School Program, which includes first person commentary from our NCWA volunteer re-enactors. Students rotate through five information stations that may include artillery, medical, infantry, generals, civilian or cavalry. Reservation times are; 9:30, 11:00 or 12:30. This year we will holding essay contest, the winner will receive $500, watch for information as we get closer.
Call 916 991-7592 to reserve your spot, $6.00 each, payment due April 4th 2008, any unpaid reservations will be canceled April 5th. These spots fill quickly on a first come first served basis, don't miss your chance.
